KATHMANDU: A total of 336 people affected by the Bhotekoshi River flood in Rasuwa have been airlifted to safety, according to the Nepali Army.
Nepali Army spokesperson Rajaram Basnet said around 4,000 army personnel have been mobilized to search for and rescue those affected, provide emergency medical treatment and distribute relief supplies.
Since Thursday morning, 336 people, including 45 foreign nationals from six countries, have been rescued by air from Timure, Dhunche and Mailung areas of Rasuwa, Basnet said.
