Cricketer Lamichhane believed to be in Singapore



KATHMANDU: It has been revealed that Sandeep Lamichhane, the former captain of the Nepali national cricket team, is currently in Singapore.

He has been alleged of sexual offences by a teenage girl in Nepal.

He came to Singapore from Jamaica and is doing legal consulting there.

Sandeep, who was in Jamaica to play in the cricket league, said that he would come to Nepal in a few days.

However, it is understood that he changed his mind after consulting a legal practitioner in Nepal and headed for Singapore.

Sources said that advocate Saroj Ghimire is currently in Singapore to give him legal advice.
