Local election update: NC, UML in forefront



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML and Nepali Congress (NC) are leading in the votes counted in 18 local elections so far.

So far, while UML has won 8 seats, NC has won seven seats.

The Maoist Center and the CPN-Unified Socialist Party, meanwhile, are in the third-place winning two seats.

Nepali Congress

  3. Naso village municipality – Manang
  4. Gulmi Durbar Village Municipality – Gulmi
  5. Ganyapadhura village municipality – Dadeldhura
  6. Musikot Municipality – Gulmi
  7. Kharpunath village municipality – Humla

  1. Kaike village municipality – Dolpa
