KMC’s independent candidate Balen still ahead



KATHMANDU: Balen Shah, an independent mayoral candidate of Kathmandu Metropolis, is still leading the vote count as of Sunday morning.

He has received 1,896 votes so far.

His nearest rival Keshav Sthapit of CPN-UML has so far got 1,097 votes.

Likewise, Nepali Congress mayoral candidate Sirjana Singh has got 949 votes so far.

Vote counting is underway.
