Bhim Rawal alleges UML leadership for being arbitrary, unjust

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal has alleged the party leadership for being arbitrary and unjust by not giving him a ticket in the November 20 election to the House of Representatives.

Organizing a press conference in Kathmandu on Thursday, Rawal said, “I have not raised concern about the fact that I was not given a ticket, but about the arbitrary behavior and attitude of the leadership and the violation of policies and rules.”

“It is arbitrary and unfair to give tickets to people who have not contributed to the party (UML),” Rawal said.

Rawal said that he was barred from contesting the election just because he was sure to win in the constituency.

He came down heavily on the party leadership for providing tickets to what he said “holy wine” promoters, and those who were against the party.

Rawal was unanimously recommended in Achham Constituency-1.
