Nepali arrested with undisclosed Rs 72 lakhs at Nepal-India border

BHAIRAHAWA: Police arrested a Nepali citizen with an undisclosed 72 lakhs rupees at the Nepal-India border in Sunauli.

The youth, who was coming from India, was arrested with cash during a check by Indian security personnel in no-man’s land.

Durgesh Kumar Singh, in-charge of Sunauli Police Outpost, said that 38-year-old Subhash Sunar of Siddharth Nagar Municipality Dayapath was arrested with NRs 72,80,000.

He is being interrogated by the officials of Indian customs and security agencies.v
