Nepal to meet Oman in ICC Cricket World Cup League 2



KATHMANDU: The Nepali cricket team will face Oman in ICC World Cup Cricket League-Two Triangular One-Day Series in the USA.

The match will be played at Houston Cricket Stadium in USA from 9:15 pm Nepali time tonight.

Nepal must win the rest of the games to make a place in next year’s ODI World Cup qualifiers.

Nepal has already added 12 points in 12 matches of the World Cup League Two so far, with six win and six losses.

Nepal ranks sixth in the points table.

Meanwhile, Oman is in the top of the table with 40 points.

Scotland is in second place, followed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The United States is fourth, while Namibia is fifth. Papua New Guinea is in seventh place.

Under the series, Nepal will play the second match against the USA on June 11 and the third match against Oman on June 14.

Similarly, the last match of the series will be played between Nepal and USA on June 15.
