KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on Thailand today in the ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup Asia qualifiers.

The game will be played at 11 am at the UKM Oval in Malaysia. Nepal is upbeat about winning today’s match. Nepal has won two and lost one of the three matches played so far. In the first match, Nepal defeated Qatar by 79 runs. In the second match, Nepal lost to UAE by eight runs.

In the third match played yesterday, Nepal defeated Bhutan by four wickets. Nepal is in the third position with four points in three games while Thailand is in the second position with six points. Nepal will take on Malaysia on Thursday.

Nepal, Malaysia, UAE, Thailand, Bhutan, and Qatar are participating in the tournament. The top team will advance to the Women’s Under-19 World Cup to be held in South Africa.
