Meteorologists say westerly wind to affect weather for a few days



KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast the possibility of light rain in small parts of hilly and lowland areas of the country and light snowfall in some places in high hilly and mountainous areas.

The weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in various parts of the country due to the westerly low-pressure system that entered Nepal on Tuesday night.

Meteorologists have said that the westerly wind is affecting the entire country now.

According to meteorologists, there is a possibility of light to moderate snowfall in some parts of the high hills and mountains of the country and light to moderate rain in some places in the far west, Karnali, Gandaki, Lumbini and Bagmati.
