Maoist leader Pun discharged from Shenzhen hospital



KATHMANDU: Maoist Center leader Barsha Man Pun has been discharged from a hospital in China on Tuesday.

He has been discharged from the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen after undergoing 18 days of treatment for a rare disease Crigler Najjar Syndrome.

His 18 days treatment was conducted in Shenzhen, China, and Bangkok, Thailand.

He is set to leave for Nepal on Friday.

The Maoist Center has not been able to finalize party’s office-bearers after the 8th general convention as the party is awaiting leader Pun’s arrival.

Leader Pun is an aspirant for the post of general secretary.
