Leader Nepal pledges to work diligently for country



TANAHUN: CPN Unified Socialist (CPN-US) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal has reaffirmed his commitment to work diligently for the country.

Addressing an event organized by Bouddha Himal Tamang Gumba at Bhanu Municipality-3 in Tanahun district Saturday, Chairperson Nepal said that the formation of CPN-US had excited youth, women and indigenous communities.

Nepal, also a former Prime Minister, claimed, “All are excited that a nationalist party has come into being. Our party will bring light to Nepal’s politics.”

He shared that discussions were held to integrate Gorkha, Lamjung and Tanahun in a bid to build a bigger city. “I will draw the attention of the government for integrated development of three districts.”

According to him, this party had vowed to usher the country into the path of prosperity and enable an environment where all would be respected. “We have pledged to end backwardness, poverty and unemployment. We are committed to taking forward the country for improving the life standards of the farmers by developing agriculture.”

Similarly, Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Krishna Kumar Shrestha pledged to help allocate budget for the development of this place. “Since the public was supreme for the CPN-US, the citizens would be highly revered.”
