NEPSE decreases by 69.05 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd has decreased by 69.05 points on Tuesday.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2975.84 points.

A total of 23.10 million shares of 227 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 13.25 billion.

The index of all groups has declined today.

Banking group decreased by 23 points, trade by 106 points, hotels, and tourism by 46 points, development banks by 205 points, hydropower by 124 points, finance by 101 points, non-life insurance by 372 points, manufacturing by 198 points, others by 62 points, microfinance by 164 points and life insurance by 447 points.

The value of Karnali Development Bank has increased the most by 7.5 percent.

The price has gone up by Rs 40.

The price of Manakamana Smart Microfinance has increased by 6 percent.

Support microfinance dropped by some 6 percent.
The cost of the Ruru hydropower project has dropped by 10 percent. After the decline, the company’s price has remained at Rs 1,346 per share.

The price of Mountain Hydro Nepal has declined by 7.7 percent.

The cost of Himalayan energy development has declined by about 7 percent. Arun Valley Hydropower topped the list in terms of turnover. Shares worth Rs 1 billion of the company have declined by 5 percent.

Shares of Himalayan Distillery worth Rs 490 million have been bought and sold. Api Power, Nepal Bank, and Goodwill Finance managed to be in the top five in terms of turnover.
