Home Ministry urges all to follow prohibitory order



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has urged one and all to fully abide by the prohibitory order enforced to stem the outbreak of coronavirus.

It also urged the public to follow the health safety protocol and not to go outside the home except for necessary works.

There has been a restriction in the movement of the public vehicles and the people except for urgent purposes in the district where the order has been imposed, said the Ministry.

Stakeholders should cooperate in the efforts of the government to deal with the outbreak of the second wave of Covid-19, said the Ministry’s spokesperson Janak Raj Dahal.

The government has imposed the order in the coronavirus-hit districts and the Kathmandu Valley for a week starting Thursday.

Meanwhile, the country has recorded as many as 5,000 infection cases with more than half in the Valley.
