ATM thief lands in police net



MORANG: Police have arrested a person on the charge of attempting to dismantle an ATM booth of a bank in Morang district.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team arrested 24-year-old Mohammad Imtiyaz while he was breaking the ATM booth of NIC Asia Bank at Budhi rural municipality-3, Tanki Chowk on Sunday night.

Originally from Duhabi municipality-9, Imtiyaz was arrested by police deployed from CRV post, Bansbari.

A 25-year-old Mohammad Anish Husain, an accomplice, has been at large. Police said they have launched a manhunt to nab the fugitive.

Police have also recovered a hammer, screw driver and motorcycle from the incident site.
