Joshi’s mortal body to be kept at Sanepa from 12 to 2 pm for condolence



KATHMANDU: The mortal body of Nepali Congress leader Nabindra Raj Joshi will be kept at the central party office in Sanepa for condolence on Saturday, said the NC party office.

According to the party source, Joshi’s mortal body will be kept at the central party office from 12 to 2 pm for the people in general to pay tributes to the departed soul.

Meanwhile, an emergency meeting of the central committee (CC) has been called for 11:30 am.

To be held at the central party headquarters, the meeting will pass a condolence motion on the demise of party central member and former minister Joshi who passed away on Friday night, said NC party sources.

Born on September 19, 1962, Joshi was rushed to Bir Hospital and then taken to the Norvic International Hospital Thapathali after he suffered brain hemorrhage a month ago on February 26.

He had won the 2013 second Constituent Assembly elections from the Kathmandu constituency 8.
