KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecast thunderstorm and rain in the hilly areas of the country Sunday due to the influence of westerly winds.
The weather in the morning is generally clear in Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain with thunderstorm in one or two places in the hilly terrain Sunday afternoon.
Rainfall is also forecast in the hilly region on Monday and Tuesday, according to a three-day weather forecast bulletin issued by the Department.
