KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), ruling party, is set to hold its Central Committee meeting today, with electoral preparations and internal organizational matters high on the agenda.
According to RSP spokesperson Jagadish Kharel, the meeting will begin at 3 pm at the party’s central office in Banasthali under the chairmanship of RSP Chair Rabi Lamichhane.
The meeting is expected to focus on preparations for the local elections, including the nomination of members to the party’s Central Candidate Selection Committee. The party will also discuss the nomination of department heads and deputy heads as part of its organizational arrangements.
Another key agenda is the “We Are Coming” campaign, which is being led by the RSP Central Committee and members of the House of Representatives. The party is also scheduled to review the audit report of its Madhes Province organization.
The meeting will further take up other issues under the miscellaneous agenda, according to the party.
