Thadi Customs Office, Siraha collects 44 percent more revenue than target in previous FY

SIRAHA: Thadi Customs Office in Siraha district has collected 44 percent more revenue than the target in the fiscal year, 2020/21.

The total collected revenue amount is over Rs 94 million which is more than the target of over Rs 65 million, said Chief of the Office Naresha Sah.

The Nepali months of Jestha and Asar could not meet the target of revenue collection due to the prohibition order over COVID-19, he said.

There had been an easy operation of vehicles carrying construction materials even during the prohibition order. As a result, the Office collected revenues more than the target, he said.

Similarly, the Transport Management Office, Lahan has collected revenues worth more than Rs 4.3 million for the FY, 2020/21.
