Man held with Rs 2.45 mln with unknown source



KATHMANDU: A person has been arrested with Rs 2.45 million without clear source of earning at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Police arrested Chudamani Basnet, 33, of Kanepokhari rural municipality-7, Morang with the money while he was preparing to fly to Biratnagar on Sunday evening.

The money was seized during a security check at the TIA.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the seized money and Basent under control.
