Gagan Thapa joins RSP leaders in ringing party bell at convention opening

CHITWAN: Nepali Congress leader Gagan Kumar Thapa joined leaders of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in ringing the party’s symbolic bell during the opening ceremony of its first national general convention.

Thapa participated in the ceremony alongside RSP Chair Rabi Lamichhane and senior party leader Balendra Shah.

During the inauguration, Shah and Lamichhane rang a large ceremonial bell. Shah also handed smaller bells to Thapa, former prime minister Baburam Bhattarai and Janamat Party Chair CK Raut.

Following the gesture, Thapa joined Ravi and Balen in ringing the bell from the stage’s guest seating area as part of the formal opening of the convention.

Other invited guests also participated in the symbolic bell-ringing ceremony marking the launch of the party gathering.
