CK Raut praises RSP convention delegates and Prime Minister’s leadership

CHITWAN: Janamat Party Chair CK Raut praised the delegates attending the first national general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), saying participants from across Nepal had gathered with a shared determination to contribute to nation-building.

Addressing the convention, Raut said representatives had travelled from Taplejung in eastern Nepal to Darchula in the far west with a vision of transforming the country.

He also spoke positively about the leadership and capabilities of Prime Minister Balendra Shah.

According to Raut, those present at the convention were not driven by positions or prestige but by a broader goal of supporting political efforts aimed at national prosperity.

“You have not come here for positions. You have come with a strong desire to change the country. I am also here to extend my best wishes because I share the same aspiration of building the nation,” Raut said.

He added that he viewed himself not as a political competitor but as a fellow traveller and supporter of the aspirations expressed at the convention.

Recalling his past political movement centred on equality, Raut also praised what he described as the rise of leadership from Madhesi communities and made additional remarks commending the Prime Minister’s style and public image.

Raut further made a satirical comment suggesting that political disagreements should not extend to restricting individual choices or expression.
