APF rescues woman being trafficked to India



KANCHANPUR: A woman has been rescued from Nepal-India bordering area, Dokebazaar, this morning when she was being taken to India, reportedly for trafficking purpose.

Ramdin Dagaura, 35, of Ghodaghodi municipality-5 of Kailali district was taking Sita Luhar, 32, wife of Prem Luhar, of the Ghodaghodi municipality- 1 to India, alluring her.

Superintendent of Armed Police Force at APF No 35 Headquarters, Shaileshwori, Birendra Bahadur Aeir, said that Dagaura along with the woman has been handed over at Police Post, Trinagar, for necessary action.

Meanwhile, Saddam Miya, 30, of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-1 has been arrested with drug at Nepal-India bordering area at Punarbas municipality-4 on Wednesday night.

Aeir added that Miya has been handed over to the Area Police Office, Tribhuvanbasti, for necessary action.
