HoR meeting taking place today

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled to be held at the Federal Parliament building in New Baneshwor Tuesday at 1 pm.

On Monday, a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee was held to discuss the agenda for today’s meeting.

This is the third meeting of the reinstated HoR since the Supreme Court overturned Prime Minister KP Oli’s decision to dissolve the House.

The meeting of the parliament was postponed for today after the main opposition party, Nepali Congress (NC), protested against the government’s introduction of various ordinances.

Tuesday’s meeting will be short as the government has not given any business to the House.
