Province 1 CM Acharya preparing to expand cabinet



KATHMANDU: Province 1 Chief Minister Bhim Acharya, whose government is in the minority, is preparing to expand his cabinet.

According to sources in the Chief Minister’s Office, two ministers and three state ministers of state would be appointed on Wednesday.

According to sources, CM Acharya is preparing to appoint Tulsi Neupane and Hira Thapa as Ministers and Gyaneshwar Rajbanshi, Uttam Basnet and Lila Ballabh Adhikari as Ministers of State.

UML provincial lawmaker Lila Ballav Adhikari said he was summoned to the Office of the Province Chief at 5.30 pm.

Minister of Social Development of Province 1, Bal Bahadur Samsohang, said that the expansion of the Council of Ministers would take place today.
