DRI files revenue leakage case against four

KATHMANDU: The Department of Revenue Investigation (DRI) has filed a case against four persons for causing loss of government revenue worth Rs 10 million at Patan High Court Thursday.

The four accused include proprietor of Tripureshwor-based Om Surgical Concern Pvt Ltd and customs officials.

DRI has sought to recover the revenue leakage amount and has pressed for imprisoning the four.

DRI says the accused profited by faking purchase price, among other activities, in collusion with customs officials and thereby affecting the government’s revenue.
