Nepali migrant worker dies in South Korea



KATHMANDU: A Nepali migrant worker has died in the line of duty in South Korea.

The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Ashok Shreesh Magar of Galkot municipality-11, Baglung, informed Tek Pun, the chairman of Nepal Magar Association, South Korea.

Shreesh Magar died while he was carrying out his duty at a rice mill company based in Daegu City on Monday evening, said Pun.

Shreesh Magar had gone to South Korea two years ago. Pun said the deceased’s family members have been informed about the incident.

Currently, South Korea Police has kept the body of the deceased at a local hospital.
