SC issues interim order not to implement decision to remove scout coordinator

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued an interim order not to implement the government’s decision to remove Nepal Scout coordinator Lok Bahadur Bhandari.

A single bench of Justice Tej Bahadur KC upheld the decision to remove the then working committee including Bhandari.

The current government had removed Bhandari from the post of Nepal Scout Coordinator on the recommendation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports while removing the officials appointed by the previous government led by KP Oli.

They will be reinstated following an interim court order.
