All schools set to resume; health protocols mandatory



KATHMANDU:  The government has urged all the educational institutes to strictly comply with health protocols while running in-person classes.

The schools are making preparations to conduct classes with physical presence of students after Tihar and Chhat festivals.

Deepak Sharma, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Education has stated that schools should strictly follow the provision laid down in the School Operation Framework, 2077 while conducting in-person classes.

It is mandatory for students and teachers to put on masks, temperature of students should be measured regularly, arrangement of soap and sanitizers and maintaining physical distance in the class room and conducting classes in shifts should be maintained as per the Framework.
