NRB directs banks to open on Saturday



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has directed the banks and financial institutes (BFIs) to open their counters on Saturday.

The National Bank of Nepal has directed BFIs to open their counters for revenue collection on Saturday stating that it is the last day of the second quarter of the current fiscal year.

Even though all the banks do not open, those meant for collecting revenue will keep their counters open.

Some banks have themselves notified public that they will keep their counters open on Saturday.
