Revised schedule of National Census-2021 approved



KATHMANDU: The government has approved the revised schedule of National Census-2021.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Monday approved the revised schedule of the Census-2021, said Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, spokesperson of the government.

The meeting has decided to accept assistance of Rs. 5.54 billion from the International Development partners as a concessional loan to run the school sector development program. Similarly, the meeting also decided to accept additional concessional loan assistance of Rs. 5.94 billion for the Nepal Health Sector Management Reform Program from the International Development Agency.

Likewise, the meeting has decided to participate in the Climate Change Friendly Action Coalition and its Steering Committee as a member.

A decision was also taken to create permanent and temporary posts for various projects for the Fiscal Year 2021/22. The cabinet meeting has decided to give awards to 40 different civil servants on the occasion of Civil Service Day.

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Karki said that the meeting also decided to construct a barrack building for the Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force in Changru of Darchula’s Byas rural municipality.
