Biplav accused of surrendering to power



KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) has accused Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav of surrendering to the government for the release of his cadres and relatives.

Issuing a press release on Thursday, the party has labeled the agreement as a betrayal for Nepali communist movement.

“Some traitors have betrayed the movement and the people, and chosen to surrender to the government letting their promises and the people’s dream go astray,” the statement issued by Comrade Nepal said.

Biplav led Nepal Communist Party and the government inked a three-point agreement in Kathmandu on Friday.
