TU to open vacancies for over 500 assistant professors



KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan University (TU) is all set to announce vacancies for assistant professors through open competition within a month.

Vice Chancellor of TU Professor Dr Dharma Kanta Baskota said, “Preparations are underway to open vacancies for over 500 assistant professors. All the processes will be completed within a month.”

With the processes to open vacancies for assistant professors, the promotion of associated professors will also be initiated.

Baskota further said the collection of vacancies for assistant professors and the number of part-time teachers working in all the constituent colleges has reached the final stage.

From now onwards, the vacancies will be announced every year as per the number of posts lying vacant in TU, said Baskota.
