SC to continue hearing on House dissolution case Thursday

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) will continue to hear the House dissolution case on Thursday.

Saying that he had heard about the general strike called by the Nepal Communist Party on Thursday, CJ Rana asked advocates pleading in favor of the case whether they would be able to come on Thursday.

At the end of Wednesday’s session, CJ Rana asked Deputy Attorney General Padam Prasad Pandey, “I have heard there is a general strike on Thursday. Is it possible for you to come to the court?”

Pandey, meanwhile, said they would come.

Then Chief Justice Rana said, “Since we all are coming, do we have to make any arrangements for tomorrow?”

CJ Rana then said the hearing would continue on Thursday as well.
