Koirala urges cadres to work towards safeguarding constitution

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dr Shekhar Koirala has urged the party cadres to join the movement to save democracy and nationalism by brushing aside all intra-party differences.

Stating that the constitution written by the people is in danger of being torn apart by the communists, Koirala said that the task of protecting the constitution has fallen on the shoulders of the NC party.

Speaking at a program organized in Morang on Wednesday, Koirala said that NC would not give up street agitation until the parliament was restored.
