One arrested with home-made guns



BIRATNAGAR: Police have arrested one person with three homemade guns in Sotang village municipality of Solukhumbu district.

According to the Biratnagar-based Provincial Police Office No. 1, a local identified as Ganga Bahadur Giri was arrested with the guns on Saturday.

Spokesperson of the Police Office and Superintendent of Police Mahendra Kumar Shrestha said that Giri, 34, was arrested from the local Pavai Community Forest area with a gun, 800 grams of ammunition, 1 kg iron, 7 batteries, 1 lighter, 1 tape, 1 mobile, 2 mobiles and 10 meters of wire.
