Kathmandu Valley sees 85 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 85 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 70 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 5 in Bhaktapur, and 10 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 159 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,71,118 in the country as of Monday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 2,489 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 264 infected people got recovery from the virus infection.

So far, 2,66,600 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, no additional COVID-19 deaths across the country in the past 24 hours, keeping the country’s death toll to 2,029.
