Business Advisory Committee meeting scheduled ahead of House session



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of the House of Representatives is set to be held today at Singha Durbar.

According to Ekram Giri, Joint Secretary and spokesperson for the Parliament Secretariat, the meeting will take place at 12 noon in the committee meeting hall adjacent to the multipurpose building.

The meeting is being convened ahead of the House of Representatives session scheduled for 1 pm.

During today’s House meeting, Prime Minister Balendra Shah is expected to present the Seventh Annual Report of the National Natural Resources and Finance Commission, 2082.

Similarly, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle will table the Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2082. Prior to this, a proposal seeking permission to present the bill is also likely to be introduced.

The Speaker is also scheduled to read out a letter received from the President’s Office regarding changes in the hierarchy of the Council of Ministers.
