14-day lockdown in Biratnagar from Saturday



BIRATNAGAR: A lockdown will be enforced in the Biratnagar Metropolitan City area from Saturday following a sudden surge in the coronavirus cases.

A meeting of the district-level COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) on Friday decided to enforce the lockdown for 14 days starting tomorrow, said Acting Chief District Officer Dhruv Khadka.

The metropolis has reported 109 COVID-19 cases so far.
