PABSON asks govt to waive bank-loan interest



KATHMANDU: The Private and Boarding Schools’ Organization Nepal (PABSON has asked the government to waive the interests on the bank loans taken by the schools if it was to waive one-month fee to the students.

PABSON, the country’s association of private schools, has said that either the government should waive the bank interests or make sure that the government waived one-month’s rent to the schools which are paying rent against the land or building they are using.

The government has on Sunday decided that private schools need to waive the fees for the month of Chaitra.
