PM Shah discusses with representatives from disaster-hit areas after Bhotekoshi floods



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Balendra Shah (Balen) has begun discussions with people’s representatives from various districts and local levels declared disaster-affected areas following the Bhotekoshi floods in Rasuwa.

The Prime Minister is holding discussions with chiefs of 15 disaster-affected local levels in Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Dhading, Gorkha and Tanahun, as well as members of the House of Representatives, at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar from 11 am today (Monday).

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the discussions are focused on reviewing the situation in the flood-affected areas, assessing the current circumstances, identifying immediate measures to be taken, and planning reconstruction efforts, among other issues.
