NEW DELHI: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is addressing the nation today evening at 4 pm.

PM Modi is set to address the nation after the government banned 59 Chinese apps as well as released fresh guidelines for Unlock 2.0.

India’s move to ban Chinese apps came following border tensions in Ladakh between the Indian and Chinese armies.

The new guidelines for Unlock 2.0 is said to be applicable from July 1 as the first phase ends today.

According to the guidelines, colleges, schools, and coaching institutions will remain closed until July 31.

Likewise, cinema halls, metro rail, swimming pools, gymnasiums, theatres, entertainment parks, auditoriums, bars, and assembly halls will also remain shut.
