67 Nepalis infected with COVID-19 in Malaysia

KATHMANDU: Twelve Nepali migrant workers have been infected with the coronavirus in Malaysia in the past two weeks.

With 12 confirmed cases, the number of Nepali people infected with the COVID-19 has reached 67, according to Nepali Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.

Among those infected, 13 have recovered after treatment while 54 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country.

According to the Embassy, the condition of those undergoing treatment is said to be normal.

According to Worldometer, the death toll from the deadly virus in Malaysia has reached 115 while 7, 619 have been infected with 15 new cases.

Currently, 1,421 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 6,083 have recovered from the virus.
