COVID-19 test begins from BPKIHS in Dharan

KATHMANDU: Test for COVID-19 has begun from Province 1 in Dharan.

According to Dr. Bikash Devkota, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population said that the test for COVID-19 has started at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) from Saturday.

Earlier, tests for COVID-19 were done only at National Public Health Laboratory in Kathmandu.

According to Devkota, a total of 875 samples have been so far tested and out of them, five came positive.
