KATHMANDU: Three bills were introduced in a session of the National Assembly (NA) on Tuesday.

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Bhanubhakta Dhakal presented the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Act (Third Amendment) Bill-2076 BS and Corruption Prevention Act (First Amendment) Bill-2076 BS while Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokhrel tabled the Yogamaya Ayurved University Bill-2076 BS in the meeting.

Similarly, Legislation Management Committee president Parshuram Meghi Gurung presented the committee’s report about the Nepal Media Council Bill-2075 BS.

The meeting unanimously passed the condolence motion presented on the demise of House of Representatives former member Gambhir Jung Karki. NA Chair Ganesh Timilsina presented the motion.

The Upper House shall meet again at 11:00 am on February 2.
