CHITWAN: District Administration Office (DAO), Chitwan has decided to extend the prohibitory order for the second time and make it go up to September 4.

DAO Chitwan has made this decision of extending the prohibitory order till next Friday. However, the orders will be less strict for the operation of most essential goods and supplies this time.

With the mounting cases of coronavirus in the district, the administration has been under pressure to extend the prohibitory order as the only means to curb the wide-spreading pandemic.

Similarly, the industry and the factories will be allowed to go in operation provided they arrange for the quarantine in the industry and factory.

he vehicles used for the transportation of agricultural products and the vehicles involved in providing drinking water, electricity, internet etc. will entertain relaxation of the order with enough precautions.

Chitwan had seen the first round of prohibitory orders on August 14 to be effective in Bharatpur Metropolitan City which was extended to 5 more local levels except Madi Municipality for the period between August 16-21.

The orders were expanded to all parts of the districts from August 22-28.
