PM Oli meets with players of KP Oli Cup Football Championship



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli met with the players and organizers of the Third KP Oli Cup Football Championship here today.

During the meeting, Rs 200 thousand, including Rs 100 thousand on behalf of KP Oli Club and Rs 100 thousand on behalf of the PM’s spouse Radhika Shakya, was handed over for the medical treatment of mother of Prakash Ruchal of ANFA who is the official commentator of the Cup.

It may be noted here that Ruchal’s mother is a cancer patient.

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) President Pankaj Rai and president of the Youth Association Kshitiz Thebe were among those present in the meeting.

The Championship organized by National Youth Association Nepal commenced on February 23 and it will conclude on March 4.

The winning team of the Championship will bag Rs 1 million 511 thousand and 111 while the first runner-up team will bag Rs 500 thousand, according to the organizers of the Championship.
