KATHMANDU: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi, who was criticized for intensifying political meetings with ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) leaders, held discussion with Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel today.
In the meeting held at Poudel’s residence in Balaju, the two discussed Nepal-China relations to commemorate the 63rd anniversary bilateral relations.
Hou also assured of China’s continued support to Nepal, particularly in combating the COVID-19 pandemic, it is learned.
