Govt allocates Rs 2.64 billion for 130 industrial villages

Kathmandu. Dr. Yuvaraj Khatiwada, Minister for Finance Minister, has allocated Rs 2.64 billion for the construction of 130 industrial villages.

Unveiling the budget for the coming fiscal year 2020/21, Khatiwada said that industries that use domestic raw materials would be encouraged. Similarly, he added that industries established in SEZs and export-oriented industries would be encouraged through the tax system.

Minister Khatiwada informed that the government has a policy to encourage the domestic textile industry
