50 percent discount on electricity during low demand



KATHMANDU: Government has unveiled a plan to provide 50 percent discount on electricity charge when the demand of electricity is low.

Unveiling the budget for 2020/21 on Thursday, Finance Minister Dr. Yuvaraj Khatiwada has said that the consumers who consumed maximum 10 units in a month will be given free of cost and those who consumed up to 50 units monthly will get 10 discounts.
