KATHMANDU: Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll stands at 183 as of Thursday afternoon after eight more fatalities reported in the last 24 hours.

Speaking at a regular press briefing this afternoon, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that one woman each from Lalitpur, Bara, Kaski, Rupandehi and Banke and one man each from Kathmandu, Parsa and Kapilvastu have succumbed to the coronavirus.

Nepal confirmed 1,111 new cases in the last 24 hours that took the national tally to 35,529.
